Real Madrid, LCFC player ratings :)

So, the 'big boys' were in town, oh, and they were playing against Real Madrid which meant only one thing FOOTBALL IS BACK.

My Player Ratings;

 

Kasper Schmeichel - 8.5 some top saves, monstorous kick!

Lee Peltier - 7.5 did well against Ronaldo 2nd half, couple of simple mistakes but steady

Matt Mills - 8 one word, COMMITTED. through himself into everything got stitches & concussion for his efforts & a beautiful ball to Gally

Sol Bamba - 9 quality! showed Sven he should 100% have a place in starting 11 tackle after tackle deserved a goal from strong header

Paul Koncheskey - 7.5 steady, could see his experience will be good this season

Neil Danns - 7.5 impressed! had top work rate just needs to be abit more decisive

Richie Wellens - 6.5 didnt really see him being overly influential, quieter day, won free kicks though

Yuki Abe - 8 absolute beasty performance, great energy, tackle after tackle

Paul Gallagher - 7 looked one of fitter, still abit of a ponce, moments of class though

David Nugent - 7.5 impressed, looked much quicker & promising than imagined
Darius Vassell - 7.5 worked hard, used pace well won quite a few free kicks.

Andy King - 8 was hungry, used skill & strength to get away from 2 madrid players & put in great cross

Michael Johnson - 6.5 didnt see him do much right or wrong - likes to get forward though

Sean St Ledger - 6.5 - looked abit of the pace megsed to give madrid big chance

Michael Ball - 6.5 looked abit shaky but not on for long

Steve Howard - 7.5 controlled ball well & won flicks - did what he does best

Lloyd Dyer - 7.5 pace left madrid for dead at times & lovely finish for goal, god knows what he was doing for the short corner debarkle though!

Martyn Waghorn - 7 didnt do loads but his pretty little self was energetic & almost gave us a goal from freekick

Matt Oakley - 6.5 didnt do much, few decent tackles, gonna struggle to get into that midfield!

Sven - 8 played a strong squad and rotated to give most of the boys a chance to say 'i've played against Real Madrid and did a trademark wave when we sang his name' #svenistheman
